TERRACOTTA BABY TAZ GILET AND BLUE/WHITE BABY TAZ LONGSLEEVED SHIRT

Alright, first I have to say, I have no idea if these are a set. Dunno if they were sold together, I have yet to see a BNWT picture of either of them. I will review them together as I received them together.

It's also worth mentioning the trousers are not a part of the set, so they will not be reviewed.

I have so many Taz Gilets, my closet is overflowing! I have two of this, two camo Taz gilets, two fabric patched Taz gilets, it's driving me nuts! It makes sense though, Taz was popular in the U.K., and of course, he would sell better than Sylvester or Bugs.

Let's look at the gilet first. It is a lovely terracotta colour, with details embroidered in. It has texture embroidered in, as you can see in the pictures, along and at the shoulders where it goes into diamond shapes. The Taz embroidery is subtle, being a dark blue outline with blue and white highlights. It is not a full body picture of Taz either, he cuts off at the zip. By the chest, there is a patch saying "BABY TAZ" in multicoloured letters, resemblant of a name tag. On the left side of the gilet (our right), there is a small tag coming off that says Baby Taz on yellow, in white font.

The fabric on the outside is made of a polyester and nylon combination, and it is what ruins the gilet for me. My other Taz gilets have softer or more plastic feeling textures, while this one can't seem to make its mind up. It almost feels like it'll catch your skin as you trace your hand over it. It's unpleasant to me, but that may be because of my Asperger's and sensory issues, and regardless, I'm sure a little one would not mind the texture. :)

The inside of the gilet is much softer and more pleasant than the outside. According to the tag, the "wadding" is polyester, while the cotton hood is... Cotton! I can't figure out if the wadding includes the orange inside of the coat or not. The hood is white cotton, while the body part is an orange terracotta on the inside. It feels well padded, and definetely retains heat.

Looking at the shirt, the shirt is 100% cotton, and it shows! I must also say now, before I forget, it could be possible these are a set, as they have the same variant of the BLT logo and the colour name on the labels. I digress. The shirt is blue with white stripes, and a printed image of Baby Taz. The highlights and shadows on this image are printed on, no embroidery. There's a patch, reading "HERE COMES TROUBLE" embroidered onto the corner of the shirt. The shirt has two buttons around the shoulder to widen the head hole. It is a long sleeved shirt.

Overall, this is a very nice set, and shows off Baby Taz without being too loud and in your face about it. If you want a more subtle outfit, I'd certainly reccomend this set.

ADDENDUM: Since this review, I have learnt how to date the items from GEORGE. This gilet and shirt was produced in 2015, and you can find this out from the (S15) on the tag.
