My goodness, sorry for the lack of updates, friends! I have been quite busy... I have been babysitting my two nieces nearly every day, but we have still been thrifting and I have found a few new items to report on!
But I have been waiting on this baby's arrival to my collection for a while now. This is a Baby Taz 1997 Storage Case.
Anyone who knows the ins-and-outs of my collection knows I was scammed a while back regarding a Baby Taz Storage Case. It was different to this one, but a very cute teething Baby Taz that looked accurate to artwork from the time. I bought it, seller never sent it, never messaged me or responded to any case and refused to refund me. I had to get PayPal involved. Left me feeling quite bad.
This boy may not be identical, but he fills the void!
He is very lightly stuffed, and the seller described him as a storage case cross pillow, cuddle cushion. He is indeed, very cuddly! And very tall! He is my biggest Baby Looney Tunes plush! He's 18 inches, or one and a half feet. Tallest AND cuddliest, what is not to love!
Unfortunately, he has little to no branding info on him.
So, the name TAYLOR & SQUIRE stood out to me. I couldn't find ANYTHING on this brand at all. I did find they did another Taz, an adult Taz golf club cover. But that's kind of it. I presume they got a Taz license in 1997 or something, and went nuts with it.
Anyways, the Taz is really nice. He isn't design-accurate like other Taz plushes, but he has his own charm. I mean, who can resist that smile of his! Unlike the many PLAY-BY-PLAY Taz plushes, his features like his mouth are a bit less stuffed and emphasized, giving him more of a friendly smile!
Oh, yes, I will be writing reviews of my other plushes soon! I've got some very rare plushes, including a Singaporian Sylvester and an American Daffy! Stay tuned!
