NEW BABY LOONEY TUNES DUNGAREES AND BODYSUIT SET @ GEORGE ASDA

Okay, y'know what's really cool? I wrote a honest review of these on the GEORGE website, and it wasn't the most flattering, I feel I was fair though, and despite talking negatively about these, it still got published on the page.
That's really cool to me, and I hope they listen to my feedback on the blandness of these new designs, and choose more colourful fun stuff. I was advised not to mention price in my review, but let me say, this set is £10!

£10 for dungarees and a BLANK bodysuit. It's not the best comparison, but I bought some more stylish and patterned Taz dungarees for like £3 plus postage from eBay, and I could get a white bodysuit for pocket change. I actually have a Taz dungarees set FROM GEORGE that had a nicer, stripey shirt AND nicer dungarees, and it cost me a fiver if i remember right?

GEORGE have actually made a lot of nice dungaree sets, the one I described with the yellow top, plus the red Taz and Friends one comes to mind. They can do it.

I digress. I think the dungarees in this are alright, it's the bodysuit that frustrates me. No patterns, at all. Pure white. It wouldn't have taken much to print an extra Taz on or something. It really makes the set not worth the money, like I said, I could buy prettier Taz dungarees and a white bodysuit for way cheaper.

But, I will confess, the dungarees are very nice quality-wise. 100% cotton as I expect with GEORGE, and very soft on the inside. There are snaps all along the bottom, even down the legs, so changes are easy. The straps are nice and easy to adjust aswell, without being easy for Baby to undo.

I can't comment on how it fits a baby, because well, Glow-e doesn't exactly represent a perfect baby. He can fit in first size, he can fit in 18-24 months, he's a bit of a lucky dip with what fits him well. These don't. The bodysuit fits perfectly, but the dungarees are too big. I got mine in 6-9 months and the front hangs off of him with the straps adjusted as tight as they can be.

The pattern has grown on me a bit aswell; I thought, for £2 cheaper, you could get the set with the bib which is more patterned, but I like the subtleness of these dungarees. And like I said in my previous NEW BABY LOONEY TUNES review, you can swap the items because of the running monochrome theme. That's cool.

I wouldn't reccomend paying a tenner for these, but if you find them secondhand, sure, pick 'em up!

ADDENDUM: Since this review, I have learnt how to date the items from GEORGE. This set was produced in 2018, and you can find this out from the (S18) on the tag.
